flora & fauna gardens  is a full service gardening company located 30 miles out to sea, on the beautiful island of nantucket.

I was introduced to gardening after a long stretch of finding myself. I was given the opportunity to work for one of the most talented gardeners on the island. I fell in love with gardening almost immediately.

 

Working outdoors, the shifts of energy and pace from season to season was thrilling. Surrounded by strong creative and talented women pushed me in ways I will be forever grateful. I was able to view the garden through many lenses. You will witness my passion in my flower containers, seasonal pruning in prep work. I have found that the energy in detail that one may not see, or witness is what sets the tone for how the garden performs during the summer months.

 

My relationships with my clients are very important to me. My goal is to make their gardens an experience. In doing so I incorporate plants that spark a core happy memory, a beautiful scent, a passed loved one's favorite flower. I not only want my clients to see and admire their gardens but experience their spaces using all senses.
